During April & May we recognized the Twentieth anniversary of

Operation Desert Storm.  We highlighted Mike Weber’s “The Scorching Desert Sun” collection of photos.  Mike documented the actions of the 82nd Airborne Division during the ground phase of Operation Desert Storm.  Mike suffers from the effects of exposure to leaking or detonated chemical weapons, along with countless others from the 82nd, and other service men and women.  We completed our display with items loaned to us by area Desert Storm Veterans; SSgt Kevin Anason, Sgt Thomas Hayes and collector/reenactor Troy Buddenhagen.  Thank you to the men and women of this generation that continue to keep us safe day and night.
