On January 17, the Highground celebrated all the volunteers that are the heart of our veterans park.  Everyone enjoyed a fantastic potluck supper, great entertainment, and a fun white elephant auction that raised over $700.  Five-hundred dollars was donated to the Clark County Department of Aging Food Pantry and the rest helps further mission of The Highground.

The Highground Award was presented to volunteers with 50 - 100 hours of service in 2008.

Recipients were: Bill Flemal, Skip Klabon, Terri & Al Johnson, Larry
Genteman, Rory Schutte and Ron & Nona Zepplin.  Thank you to all our
volunteers!
